Spanning roughly 9 acres, The Santa Monica Pier offers classic boardwalk vibes, ocean views, and vibrant culture, all perched directly above the surf. Anchoring the pier's cultural legacy is the Looff Hippodrome, a Spanish Revival-style landmark built in 1916. Originally housing a hand-carved carousel (still in operation today), the building remains a centerpiece of the property's architectural charm and historical significance. The pier also includes public plazas, vendor stalls, fishing zones, and access to the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium beneath the deck.
