The Santa Monica Municipal Airport (SMO) is a general aviation airport stretching over 227 acres. In addition to aviation services, the Airport is home to various types of businesses, including art studios, office space, and event venues. The Airport’s facilities also include recreational space for a City Park, a restaurant, a theater, and an interim open space that houses bimonthly antique markets and is also available for resident access.

The City of Santa Monica requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI) to be submitted. The COI must be addressed to the City of Santa Monica at 1685 Main Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401. The certificate must provide coverage with minimum limits of $1,000,000 and include general liability, automobile liability, umbrella/excess liability, and workers’ compensation insurance.
